The present invention relates to a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) with improved cold resistance, which comprises: an acidic component composed of terephthalic acid or an ester-forming derivative thereof; and a mixed resin of pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA) and a polyester resin formed of a diol component composed of 2-methyl-1,3-propanediol (MPD) and ethylene glycol (EG).
