The present invention relates to a customer-to-customer shipping system and shipping method which allows other customers to quickly and accurately deliver a package of a customer to a receiver by using a smart device connected to the Internet. The customer-to-customer shipping system comprises: a smart device of a client downloading an application provided by a platform server, setting and sending a place to send an article, and providing the location of the article such that the location of the article can be checked by a smart device of a deliverer through a location-based service; the platform server providing the shipping application to deliver the article through a customer-to-customer transaction, authenticating the deliverer, authenticating receipt of the article, and paying a delivery charge incurred at the customer-to-customer transaction; the smart device of the deliverer downloading the application provided by the platform server through the Internet, installing the application, checking the location of the article through the location-based service when the delivery of the article is requested, and providing delivery authentication information to the smart device of the client when the delivery of the article is completed. When the package is moved to another area by using smart devices including smartphones, tablet PCs, and computers, customers moving to the other area pick up and deliver the package. Thus, the package can be quickly delivered, and the client can trust the deliverer to deliver the package by increasing the reliability of the deliverer through the authentication of the client who has requested the delivery.
