The present invention provides a pigpen for sorting pigs, which can divide and sort out pigs by weight in a pigpen where a plurality of entities such as growing pigs are grown before shipping pigs. The present invention also provides a pig sorting method using the same. The pigpen for sorting pigs comprises: a pig room door installed between neighboring growing spaces to form a passage to connect a gap between growing spaces; and a switch connected to a pig room gate and the pig room door in a wired or a wireless manner to open and close the pig room gate and the pig room door in accordance with a signal inputted from the outside. According to the present invention, since a portion of a space used as a growing space can be switched to a standard pig sorting space in a shipping time, nonstandard pigs do not have to stay with standard pigs in the same growing space even after standard pigs are sorted. Therefore, nonstandard pigs do not have to perform fasting of standard pigs until standard pigs are shipped.
