The present invention is to screen single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) of endothelin-1 (EDN1) gene having a significant correlation with fibromyalgia and predict the risk of occurrence of fibromyalgia by using the same as a marker. More specifically, the present invention relates to: an SNP for diagnosing fibromyalgia comprising a polynucleotide, comprising a 502^nd base and consisting of at least 8 consecutive bases, in the polynucleotide of SEQ ID NO: 1 as a complementary sequence of rs1800541 forming a part of endoserine-1 gene, or a complementary polynucleotide thereof; a microarray for diagnosing fibromyalgia comprising the polynucleotide, a polypeptide encoded by the same, or cDNA thereof; and a kit including the same.
