The present invention relates to a breeding apparatus of cicada larvae, which comprises: a multi-layered shelf (200) for storing breeding containers of cicada larvae (100); and a lifting device (300), capable of being detached from the multi-layered shelf (200), at the end of the shelf (200) to move the breeding containers (100) up and down. At the bottom of the lifting device (300), a centrifugal cicada larvae separator (400) is installed, which is characterized by having a cylindrical body having a grid of 6.5 to 8 mm in diameter. The present invention also provides a method for breeding cicada larvae using the breeding apparatus thereof, which has high efficiency by minimizing labor requirements.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
