Disclosed is a substrate for a flexible display apparatus disposed under a flexible display panel and supporting a flexible display panel. The substrate comprises: a base material layer having a linear groove formed on a surface to extend in one direction; and a flexible coating layer formed of a flexible material more flexible than the base material layer and covering the surface of the base material layer while filling the linear groove of the base material layer. Such the support substrate has the excellent folding characteristics and high restoring force, so that the flexibility and durability of the flexible display apparatus may be improved.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
