The present invention relates to a technique for data transmission to a wearable device. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a data transmission method based on whether a wearable device is worn comprises the steps of: when an event occurs, determining whether two or more wearable devices are connected to a terminal device, by the terminal device; selecting a wearable device to which the terminal device is to transmit data, among a plurality of wearable devices, when it is determined that the two or more wearable devices are connected; and transmitting data to the selected wearable device, by the terminal device.
