The present invention relates to an apparatus for an emergency landing of an unmanned autonomous aircraft and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the apparatus comprises: a safe landing point management unit which is able to manage and store a plurality of safe landing points to make the unmanned autonomous aircraft land in case of emergency; a path management unit which selects one or more of the plurality of safe landing points based on the current coordinates of the unmanned autonomous aircraft, which is flying, to respectively set a vertical moving path and horizontal moving path of the unmanned autonomous aircraft up to the safe landing point selected from the current coordinates; and a control unit which monitors the current coordinates of the unmanned autonomous aircraft and provides the vertical moving path and horizontal moving path to the unmanned autonomous aircraft on a regular basis. According to the present invention, in case of emergency, the apparatus enables the unmanned autonomous aircraft to consecutively fly along the vertical moving path and horizontal moving path provided, thereby landing on the safe landing point selected.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
