The method involves landing an aircraft on an emergency carriage with fully or partly retracted appropriate chassis in autonomous, motorized and remote-controlled manner. The emergency carriage is provided with backups, corresponding to the geometry of the body of the type of the aircraft. An independent claim is included for an autonomous, motorized and remote controlled emergency landing carriage for aircraft.
