In an engine tone control method based on an engine power characteristic utilizing artificial intelligence applied to a vehicle according to the present invention, visual control of a dashboard (41) by artificial intelligence (20) is implemented through a virtual engine revolution per minute (RPM) corresponding to a transmission event and a driving pattern of a vehicle. Furthermore, an auditory control of a speaker (51) is simultaneously achieved through a signal processing controller (10) allowing an engine vibration signal of an engine (1-1) to be based on the virtual engine RPM, thereby maximizing visual and auditory control by a synergy effect of visual and auditory senses. Moreover, power performance of the vehicle is simply controlled by a real-time change in the visual and auditory senses harmonized through artificial intelligence, and a feeling regarding a rapid response is provided to a driver.
