The present invention relates to a system for verifying design and production errors using a hull structure model, which automatically verifies modeling, assembly, processing, and mounting of ship design information based on design and production reference information prepared by using a hull structure model, and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the system for verifying design and production error using a hull structure model comprises: a database storing and managing modeling rule information and production rule information generated by modeling the hull structure model based on hull construction reference, instruction, and standard documents; a model converter extracting model attribute and shape information through modeling of a CAD model of a designed ship; a second drawing verification unit verifying the extracted model attribute and shape information based on the modeling and production rule information stored in the database; a model visualization unit visualizing a design drawing verification resu and an error report unit reporting design error information.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
