The present invention relates to: a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating adverse drug reactions caused by a statin containing at least one selected from a group consisting of isoprenoid-based compounds or zaragozic acids as an active component; or a pharmaceutical composition for combined administration with the statin. The pharmaceutical composition according to the present invention is the pharmaceutical composition capable of preventing and/or treating adverse effects which can be induced by a statin, that is, which can be induced at any time by a concentration of oxysterol in the body. Since the pharmaceutical composition can treat and prevent adverse effects caused by various statin therapeutic agents which have recently dramatically increased in use, it is possible to be widely used for various diseases and it is expected that the utility thereof will further increase.
