A lamination manufacturing system operates the extruder for the swath of a thermoplastic material to be extruded through at least two nozzles of the extruder to form a swath of a thermoplastic material along a path of a relative movement between the extruder and a platform. Speed of the extruder following the path corresponds to a predetermined speed selected based on orientation of the extruder and angle with respect to the path of the relative movement between the extruder and the platform. A controller of the system operates at least one actuator which is operably connected to the at least one of the extruder and platform in order to move the at least one of the extruder and platform at a predetermined speed along a path of a relative movement with respect to the other one of the extruder and platform for the swath of the thermoplastic material to be made adjacent to at least one of the extruder and platform in a cross process direction.
