C2 Akt FUSION PROTEIN OF C2 DOMAIN AND AKT KINASE DOMAIN FRAGMENT AND USE THEREOF

The present invention relates to a fusion protein of a C2 domain and an Akt protein fragment, the fragment formed of the 111th to 480th amino acid residues from the N-terminal of the Akt protein; and to uses of the fusion protein. More specifically, the fusion protein according to the present invention may increase the activity of Akt protein even under a condition of high calcium concentration; may reduce body weight and fat mass in an animal model infected with adenovirus containing the fusion protein and fed on high-fat diet; may improve insulin resistance; and may ameliorate fatty liver. Thus, the fusion protein of the C2 domain and the fragment formed of the 111th to 480th amino acid residues from the N-terminal of Akt protein may be beneficially used in the treatment of metabolic diseases.
