The present invention relates to a self-healing coating agent comprising a photochromic dye and a pipe crack detection device using the same. Since a coating agent comprising a self-healing substance and the photochromic dye in a capsule is applied to a crack unit of a pipe or a pipe joint unit to prevent cracking of the pipe, if the pipe crack occurs, primary crack sealing is achieved through self-healing materials. As the photochromic dye is exposed to the outside, the self-healing coating agent comprising the photochromic dye which allows a user to easily detect crack generation and crack position due to color change.
