The present invention relates to a multi-degree of freedom platform system. More particularly, the present invention relates to the multi-degree of freedom platform system for a realistic exercise apparatus, in which a linear back-and-forth motion generated by a linear actuator is converted into a vertical movement in a nonlinear guide portion. Therefore, it is possible to freely implement an uphill, downhill, or sideways inclined environment in the workout equipment while an external force, such as a load applied by a user during a workout, does not directly interfere with the linear motion of the linear actuator so that a user is allowed to experience a variety of off-line environment conditions even in an indoor environment using the workout equipment, thereby enhancing interest of exercise.
