A shift control method in a failure of a DCT vehicle comprises: an up shift determination step of determining whether an up shift condition for determining whether an up shift to an upper gear is needed by acceleration of a vehicle while driving on an N-1 gear is satisfied in a situation where the vehicle drives by a single clutch shift due to a failure of an N gear of shift gears; a first pre-engaging step of pre-engaging an N+2 gear if the up shift condition is satisfied; a first clutch release step of releasing an N-1 gear clutch if the N+2 gear pre-engagement is completed, and controlling engine torque to follow torque of the N-1 gear clutch to be reduced; a first shift gear switching step of releasing an N-1 shift gear and starting to couple an N+1 shift gear when releasing of the N-1 gear clutch is completed, and constantly maintaining N gear clutch torque after gradually increasing the N gear clutch torque; and a first shift completing step of gradually lowering the N gear clutch torque, gradually increasing N-1 gear clutch torque, and increasing the engine torque to a target engine torque to complete a shift when coupling of the N+1 shift gear is completed.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
