Provided are a method and a system for designing a smart factory layout. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for designing a smart factory layout selects a layout type of a smart factory, generates blocks to arrange the blocks in the selected type layout, and generates lines to arrange the lines in the blocks. Through a systematic standard and algorithm, which are not subjective, the layout of the smart factory can be automatically designed, thereby securing the appropriateness of the design.
