A smart factory layout design method and system are provided. In the smart factory layout design method according to an embodiment of the present invention, a layout type of a smart factory is selected, blocks are generated and arranged in a predetermined type of layout, and lines are generated and arranged in blocks. As a result, the layout of the smart factory can be automatically designed through systematic criteria and algorithms that are not subjective to humans, thereby ensuring proper design.
