The present invention relates to a novel bacteriophage KP12 having a killing ability specific to Klebsiella sp. bacteria, especially, extended-spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL)-Klebsiella sp. bacteria, an antibiotic composition containing the bacteriophage, a composition for feed additives, feeds, disinfectants or detergents, and a method for preventing or treating infectious diseases by Klebsiella comprising a step of injecting the bacteriophage to an entity. The method for preventing or treating infectious diseases by Klebsiella sp. bacteria using bacteriophage KP12 of the present invention is highly specific to Klebsiella sp. bacteria, especially ESBL-Klebsiella sp. bacteria compared with existing chemicals such as antibiotics, and the bacteriophage KP 12 is infected to Klebsiella sp. bacteria to have an excellent lytic capability and be strong to physiochemical stimulus. In addition, the bacteriophage KP12 of the present invention is not infected to other hosts such as humans, animals and plants except bacteria, thereby solving problems of antibiotic-resistant bacteria for abuse and misuse of antibiotics, residual antibiotics in foods and a wide host range.
