An herbal medicinal tablet formulation for treating obesity which can be prescribed based on Sasang constitutional medicine according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an Ephedra sinica powder concentrated such that an ephedrine content therein is 3.0 to 4.0%, higher than 0.5-2.5% in Ephedra sinica in a natural state, and the ephedrine content is fixed at 3.0-4.0%; and a powder for preventing side effects by constitutions, which is prescribed based on constitutions based on Sasang constitutional medicine in order to prevent side effects of the Ephedra sinica powder, wherein a weight ratio of the Ephedra sinica powder and the powder for preventing side effects by constitutions is 9:1 to 10:1.
