The present invention relates to a universal cooking utensil for the hearing-impaired person can use the same as a handle or a knife of a pot. The universal cooking utensil comprises: a body formed in a shape of a bar and having a body with braille, a display portion, and a speaker on an upper surface; a handle portion formed at one end of the body; and a knife portion rotatably formed to be inserted and protruded from a lower surface of the body, wherein the body comprises: a sound sensor provided on one side to recognize sound; and a control portion which is linked with the sound sensor and whose voice information is preset, wherein the control portion may be configured to output the same sound to the display portion or the speaker according to the user when the same sound as the voice information preset by the sound sensor is sensed.
