Preparation of Polyphenylsulfone Porous Hollow Fiber Membrane

When preparing a polyphenylsulfone hollow hollow fiber membrane by wet spinning method or wet-wetting spinning method using a spinning stock solution containing a water-soluble organic solvent solution of polyphenylsulfone, hydrophilic polyvinylpyrrolidone and ethylene glycol, a concentration of 70 to 100 Wt%, preferably 85 to 100% by weight, more preferably 100% by weight of N, N-dimethylformamide is used as the core liquid. The obtained porous hollow fiber membrane can be manufactured stably without putting a load on the environment, and gives a water purification membrane with high water permeability and excellent filtration performance.
