The present invention relates to nanoparticles for drug delivery comprising amphotericin B and an antimicrobial composition comprising the same, wherein nanoparticles for drug delivery comprising amphotericin B in which amphotericin B, histatine 5, and chitosan are conjugated can reduce cytotoxicity of antibiotics due to the use of minimal doses, since a synergistic effect between antibiotics and antimicrobial peptides has a great potential. Therefore, nanoparticles target ligands for pathogens or tissues infected with pathogens and exhibit a strong synergistic effect with antibiotics.
