Disclosed is a system for detecting an abnormal sound source in a CCTV system having a camera, a microphone, and an A/V controller. According to the system, a plurality of microphones (MICs) installed around a CCTV camera are connected to an abnormal sound source detection terminal. The abnormal sound source detection terminal multiplexes sound source data and video data having the largest amplitude among device IDs and microphones, and transmits the multiplexed data to an abnormal sound source analysis server through a router or a modem by a communication unit. Also, the abnormal sound source analysis server including a demultiplexer, a VMS server for monitoring a camera video, and an ATT server converts the sound source data into a text by an ATT module of the ATT server. In addition, a specific word for displaying a dangerous situation is extracted, a PTZ control signal is transmitted to a camera PTZ controller from the abnormal sound source analysis server when an abnormal sound source of the specific word is detected so a camera is focused in a direction of a microphone (MIC) that the abnormal sound source is detected to record a video in the VMS server. The ATT server generates an alarm from the abnormal sound source analysis server when a control center detects the abnormal sound source of the specific word, and an emergency bell is issued in case of determination as an emergency situation. Furthermore, a text including an abnormal sound source detection position and the specific word is transmitted to a mobile communication terminal of a control personnel or a police officer to take an emergency countermeasure.
