The present invention relates to a ship design apparatus and a ship design program. According to the present invention, the ship design apparatus includes: a memory storing the ship design program used for a ship design; an interface part enabling a user to enter data and indicating running state of the ship design program; and a control unit running the ship design program and calculating the amount of flattening member required to flatten a structure installation area chosen for the installation of a structure on a deck provided on the upper surface of the hull.
