The present invention relates to maritime wireless communication technology and, more specifically, to a maritime radio communication method using encoded standard maritime communication phrases (SMCP) supporting text communication capable of communication between ships by encoding SMCP. The maritime radio communication method communicating with other ship through a channel in a very high frequency (VHF) band at a ship comprises: a retrieval step of retrieving coded sentences of SMCP including an inputted keyword; an output step of outputting the encoded sentences according to a priority order, wherein the encoded sentences include the keyword according to a retrieval resu and a transmission step of transmitting the selected encoded sentences to the other line as one of the outputted encoded sentences is selected.
