Disclosed is a method for producing a medium for cultivation of Pleurotus ostreatus using Pueraria montana residues, which comprises: a first step for preparing washed roots of the Pueraria montana; a second step for preparing Pueraria montana residues from which a Pueraria montana juice is removed by pressing the roots of the Pleurotus ostreatus; a third step for sterilizing and drying the Pueraria montana residues; and a fourth step for separating the Pueraria montana residues into a fibrous form. According to the present invention, the weight of mushroom produced per unit area of the medium also increases.
