摘要
The present invention provides a method for providing a stair climbing measurement service which can accurately measure the number of floors and a stair climbing exercise. The method for providing a stair climbing measurement service comprises: a step of measuring the current atmospheric pressure or altitude from a barometer or an altimeter to map and store the position of a user′s terminal; a step of checking whether being positioned at a place identical to a place where the current atmospheric pressure or altitude is measured if a change of a reference atmospheric pressure difference or a reference altitude difference corresponding to a change in the number of floors occurs by monitoring the change of the current atmospheric pressure or altitude; a step of storing a first atmospheric pressure and a first altitude with a change if the place with a change of the reference atmospheric pressure difference or the reference altitude difference and the place where the altitude is measured are identical; a step of sensing a direction change within and around 180 degrees including a preset error range during a preset time when the first atmospheric pressure and first altitude are stored; a step of checking whether being positioned at a place identical to the place where the atmospheric pressure or altitude with a direction change is measured if a change of the reference atmospheric pressure difference or the reference altitude difference corresponding to a change in the number of floors with respect to the atmospheric pressure or the altitude with the direction change occurs when the direction change is sensed; a step of storing the atmospheric pressure or altitude with the direction change as a second atmospheric pressure or a second altitude if being positioned at a place identical to the place where the atmospheric pressure or the altitude with the direction change is measured; and a step of determining a one-floor upward movement when the result of subtracting the first atmospheric pressure or the first altitude from the second atmospheric pressure or the second altitude is positive and determining a one-floor downward movement when the result is negative.
