The present invention relates to an ambidextrous carbon fiber walking cane for the elderly, which comprises: a upper handle formed on the upper end of an upper pole; a lower pole inserted into the upper pole and formed to adjust height of the cane; and a stopper inserted into a hole for a stopper formed in both the upper pole and the lower pole to make the upper pole joined to the lower pole, wherein a branched handle (130) is integrally formed with the upper pole (110) and formed in an opposite direction of the upper handle (120) from the upper pole (110); and roughness is formed on the surfaces of the branched handle (130) and the upper handle (120) in order to prevent slip. According to the present invention, the branched handle (130) is made of lightweight and very strong carbon fiber material and integrally formed in the middle of the upper pole to maintain high strength and enhance stiffness and safety. In addition, although the surface is made smooth in carbon fiber molding, a roughness is formed on the surface of a handle, thereby preventing slip when the elderly hardly sweating in hand uses the walking cane.
