The present invention relates to a skin whitening composition which can efficiently whiten a skin, and a method for wearing a makeup for skin whitening. The skin whitening composition of the present invention comprises the following components as active ingredients: 6′-O-methyl neochebulagate, a salt thereof, or a solvate; neochebulagic acid, a salt thereof, or a solvate; and terflavin A, a salt thereof, or a solvate.
