According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method of manufacturing an SiC surface heating element for infrared radiation comprises: a step of dispersing and laminating an SiC fiber chop; a step of adjusting an orientation and a laminating thickness of the SiC fiber chop; a step of coating a surface of the SiC fiber chop with resin; a step of performing a carbonization process to convert the resin coated on the surface of the SiC fiber chop into a carbon layer; and a step of forming an SiC coating layer on the surface of the SiC fiber chop, wherein each of the steps may be carried out in a continuous process.
