Disclosed is a microwave spatial modulation apparatus using a meta surface which comprises: a reflection plate reflecting electromagnetic waves; and an array of unit cells configured to be arranged in an array shape on an upper surface of the reflection plate, wherein each of the unit cells is vertically arranged with respect to the reflection plate. Each unit cell independently controls a phase of the electromagnetic waves.
