The present invention relates to a performance test device for an airplane engine comprising: an engine test room having a dome shape whose upper portion is convex, allowing an engine to be tested to be installed therein, and including an air suction unit into which air required during an engine test flows; an exhaust pipe installed towards flames spurted when an engine installed in the engine test room operates, wherein one side thereof is connected to the engine test room, and flames and exhaust gas flows thereinto; and an exhaust tower on the other end of the exhaust pipe to discharge exhaust gas of the engine entering through the exhaust pipe to the outside. The air suction unit includes: a first noise prevention unit including a plurality of first noise prevention members arranged to be separated from each other to allow air to flow into a first space formed between adjacent first noise prevention members and absorb noise exposed to the outside through the first space; and a plurality of rotary wings rotatably arranged in front of the first noise prevention members to control an amount air entering through the first noise prevention unit.
