The present invention provides a sustained-release oral preparation comprising a Ginkgo biloba extract and a sustained-release matrix system. The oral sustained-release preparation of Ginkgo biloba extract according to the present invention can control the degree of absorption of the active ingredient in vivo by a controllable release rate. When administered to a human body, it exhibits continuous absorption by delayed release rate while passing through the gastrointestinal tract, (platelet activating factor) inhibitory action and antioxidant activity.
