The present invention relates to a hay cut inducement apparatus of a baler, which is able to cut rice straw picked up by a pickup unit of the baler, comprising: a main frame (100) which includes front/rear pipes (110, 120) installed respectively on the front/rear side of side walls (130) installed on end units on both sides, a plurality of partitions (140) installed between the front/rear pipes at regular intervals, a cover (150) installed on an external side of the partitions on the outermost edge, and a finishing material (160) forming an engagement space (S) formed on an upper side of the front pipe; a cutting knife guide means (200) which includes a rear end fixated on the rear pipe at a selected position between the parts between the partitions, a front end inserted into and engaged with the engagement space, and a cutting knife guide plate (210) formed in the center in a longitudinal direction with a cutting knife guide hole (220); a cutting knife operation means (300) which includes a rotary shaft (310) installed on a lower side of the rear pipe to be rotated by penetrating the side walls on both sides and to have a plurality of arms (320) installed at regular intervals in a longitudinal direction, and a locking bar (330) installed on a rear side of the front pipe to be engaged with a front end unit of a cutting knife (340), which rises and falls by being positioned on the cutting knife guide hole, and a front lower side of the cutting knife guide plate; and a cylinder (400) whose one side end is installed on one side of a lower side of the main frame and whose other end is connected to and installed on the arm on the outermost edge, thereby elevating/lowering the cutting knife.
