The present invention relates to a system and a method for maintaining a communication failure of a network device. The system of the present invention comprises: one or more communication failure detection devices for detecting a communication failure of a plurality of network devices provided in a computing room in real time, and outputting a communication failure detection signal; one or more network control devices for receiving the communication failure detection signal output from each of the communication failure detection devices, analyzing the same to extract communication failure information on each of the network devices, and controlling the extracted communication failure information on each of the network devices to stored and managed as database for each time; and a network management server connected to each of the network control devices through a communication network, periodically receiving the stored and managed communication failure information on each of the network devices from each of the network control devices, and providing a service to enable a corresponding manager to comprehensively maintain the communication failure of the network devices provided in the computer room and to monitor the same in real time through a graphical user interface (GUI) of a manger terminal on the basis of the received communication failure information. Therefore, the network devices provided in the computer room can be comprehensively maintained for the communication failure thereof.
