The present invention relates to a technique which switches and separates speaker lines for each channel to provide emergency broadcasting on different speaker lines even if a short occurs on speaker lines of some floors by fire, earthquake, and leakage in connection with a broadcasting system generally installed in a building and, more specifically, to a speaker line checker technique for emergency broadcasting based on series connection of a fuse and a variable resistor which connects a fuse and a variable resistor in series for each channel of speaker lines to set adaptively to electrical characteristics of each speaker line in a normal state by the variable resistor and then forcibly separate a corresponding speaker line in response to a short on some speaker lines by the fuse to normally operate emergency broadcasting on other floors. According to the present invention, even if a short occurs on speaker lines of some floors in a large building consisting of multiple floors, emergency broadcasting of other floors can normally operate to provide effective evacuation guide and reduce loss of lives when a disaster occurs.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
