The present invention relates to a selective enrichment medium composition for Campylobacter, comprising avibactam; and a Campylobacter detection method using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a Campylobacter detection method comprising: a) enriching and culturing a poultry rinsate in a medium prepared with the composition; and b) streaking a solid medium for Campylobacter detection with the enriched culture fluid prepared in the step a) and culturing the same. The selective enrichment medium composition for Campylobacter of the present invention, by containing avibactam, suppresses competing bacteria producing ESBL enzymes and thus can provide a selective enrichment medium composition for Campylobacter having improved sensitivity and selectivity, a Campylobacter detection kit comprising the same, and a Campylobacter detection method using the composition. In particular, the avibactam of the present invention, since it can be contained in a smaller amount than other antibiotics included in the selective enrichment medium, is less likely to cause antibiotic resistance and thus can be extremely useful as a composition for selective enrichment.
