The present invention relates to a leakage circuit breaker using a GDT for electric power. More specifically, the leakage circuit breaker using a GDT for electric power comprises: a barrister connected to a GDT for electric power in series to prevent a short of a leakage circuit breaker to firstly suppresses a surge when a surge current enters; a GDT for electric power which is connected to the barrister in series, is normally in an off state, is turned on when overvoltage is created, and has a self-recovering property of normally returning to the original state when an allowed current or lower is reached to secondly suppress a surge impulse; a current CT to detect a current value of a load side in real time to transfer the current value to a detection unit; a current leakage detection ZCT to detect a zero-phase current value of the load side in real time to transfer the zero-phase current value to the detection unit; the detection unit to detect the current value and the zero-phase current value of the load side in real time from the current CT and the current leakage detection ZCT to transfer the current value and the zero-phase current value to a control board; and the control board to generate a warning when the temperature sensor reaches a temperature of a set value or higher, and store data of the detection unit in a data storage unit.
