A doorstep apparatus for a vehicle is disclosed. According to the present invention, the doorstep apparatus for a vehicle comprises: a doorstep; a rear sensing unit sensing a moving object approaching from the rear; a door sensing unit sensing a position of a door; a passenger sensing unit sensing a passenger in a vehicle; a warning unit installed in the doorstep to give a warning of a collision with the moving body approaching from the rear; and a main control unit giving a warning of a collision with the moving body through the warning unit as the moving object is sensed through the rear sensing unit when the door sensing unit senses that the door is opened in a state in which the passenger is sensed by the passenger sensing unit.
