FIELD: testing equipment.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a testing technique, namely, machines for testing materials for friction and wear. Installation contains abrasive circles mounted on a rod, which are clamped between a three-jaw chuck and a tailstock of a screw-cutting lathe. Machine is additionally equipped with temperature sensors in the wear zone, wear sensors and a speed sensor, all indicators from which are first fed to the controller and then to the computer for data processing using the program. Machine further comprises a frame, in the case of which three sample holders are mounted on four sliders, on which the test specimens are fixed. Each sample is pressed against two abrasive wheels by means of a loading device, which includes a hydraulic cylinder fixed by one side in the frame body, and the other abutting against the sample holder, the hydraulic cylinder being connected to the pipeline through a nozzle, which, in turn, is connected to the hydraulic distributor with electronic control, connected to the hydraulic system of the screw-cutting machine through the hydraulic distribution valve and connected to the controller and to the personal computer.;EFFECT: ability to bring the conditions for assessing the wear resistance of machine parts to the actual conditions of their operation.;1 cl, 3 dwg
