METHOD FOR EARLY DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSTICS OF HEMORRHAGIC FEVER WITH RENAL SYNDROME

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to infectious diseases, and can be used for early differential diagnosis of haemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS). Method involves measuring daily diuresis in a patient. Additional ultrasound examination of the abdominal organs is performed by determining the following ultrasound size indicators: vertical oblique size of right lobe of liver, craniocaudal size of left lobe of liver, anterior-posterior size of left lobe of liver and area of spleen. Discriminator function is calculated by formula: DF=0.007x₁+0.229x₂-0.411x₃+0.168x₄+0.422x₅, where DF is the discriminant function value; x₁ – diuresis daily, ml; x₂ – vertical oblique size of right lobe of liver, mm; x₃ – craniocaudal size of left lobe of liver, mm; x₄ – anterior-posterior size of liver left lobe, mm; x₅ is area of spleen, cm². If the DF value is less than 32.0, the presence of the HFRS in the patient is stated, and if the DF values are equal to 32 or more, the HFRS is absent in the patient.;EFFECT: using this method enables early diagnosis of haemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome 3 days after the onset of the disease.;1 cl, 2 ex
