FIELD: technological processes.;SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for preparing a thermite mixture for welding rails by intermediate casting. Process line includes a scale preparation unit and assemblies for preparation of ferro additives and metal filler. Scale preparation unit includes serially arranged coarse cleaning unit, drying unit, cooling unit, crushing unit, unit for fractional separation of scale, magnetic separation units, scale burning units and cooling assembly. Unit for dosing components of said mixture is technologically connected with units for preparation of metal filler and ferro additives. After the packing unit there is a unit for mixing components of the thermite mixture and a unit for vacuum packing of doses of the ready mixture. Units for magnetic separation and burning of scale are made with possibility of processing each separate fraction of scale obtained in the unit of its fractional separation.;EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of processes of calcination, crushing and separation of components of said mixture.;7 cl, 1 dwg
