The present invention relates to a method for adjusting the light transmittance of a vehicle window pane, an associated device and a vehicle. The method comprises receiving a swipe command generated by the user via a vehicle window having adjustable translucency from the user, determining a target area to be set on the vehicle window pane, and the target translucency associated with the target area to be set in response to the swipe command and adjusting translucency of the target area to be set to the target transmittance. Thus, the user can set the light transmittance of a vehicle window glass to any desired value with ease of operation. In addition, a change in the light transmittance of a portion of the vehicle window glass can be made possible to meet the individual needs of users and to improve the user experience.
