The invention provides an overpressure chamber for a respective container, in which it is filled under pressure and closed. The respective overpressure chamber is slightly larger in volume than the vessel to be filled. After the vessel is in the overpressure chamber and the respective closure was supplied to the closer, the overpressure chamber is hermetically sealed. The pressure chamber and the open vessel are placed under vacuum, then brought to the desired atmosphere with the filling pressure.
