The approach presented here relates to a drawer device (105) for heating laundry (110) for a laundry care appliance. The drawer device (105) is shaped to be modularly attached to the laundry care appliance. The drawer device (105) has a housing element (120), a drawer unit (125) and a heating device (200). The housing element (120) is box-shaped and shaped to receive the drawer unit (125). The drawer unit (125) has a grate (215) shaped to receive the laundry (110) to be heated.
