UNDERSTANDING SPOKEN LANGUAGE USING A DYNAMIC VOCABULARY

An exemplary apparatus for detecting a meaning in a voice portion generated by the voice includes a receiver for receiving one or more word-sequence hypotheses related to a voice portion and a dynamic vocabulary generated by the voice. The apparatus also includes a Natural Language Understander (NLU) for detecting meaning and recognizing a property related to meaning based on the word-string hypothesis and the dynamic vocabulary. The apparatus further includes a transmitter for transmitting the detected meaning and the recognized associated property to an application.
