A rescue door (10) for hospitals, homes and retirement homes, comprising: a main wing (11) having a lock (13) with handles (13a, 13b) on each of a first side (A) and a second side (B) to allow the opening or closing of the main wing (11) from both sides (A, B) of the rescue door (10); a secondary wing (12) operatively connected to the main wing (11); a frame (14) adapted to support the main wing (11) and the secondary wing (12). The main wing (11) is hinged to the frame (14) so as to rotate in an opening direction (P) with respect to the frame (14), and the secondary wing (12) is configured to provide the main wing (11) with at least one closing stopper (15). The main wing (12) in turn is hinged to the frame (14) so as to rotate along an opening direction (S) opposite to the opening direction (P) of the main wing (11).
