An ear pin arrangement 240 comprising an ear pin 242 and a fastener device 244, the fastener device being such that it comprises a mounting part 246 for mounting at least one decorative item; a first fastener 248 comprising a pair of inwardly facing curved members 250 which face each other and thereby define a passage 252 for the ear pin; a second fastener 254 which extends in one direction over the first fastener and which contains a first aperture 256 for receiving the ear pin; and a third fastener 258 which extends over the first fastener and in the opposite direction to the second fastener and which contains a second aperture 260 for receiving the ear pin; the passage and the first and second apertures aligning with a third aperture 262 which extends through the mounting part, and the ear pin arrangement being such that the ear pin is able to be passed firstly through the third aperture, then through the passage and then through the first and second apertures. The passage between the curved members is preferably a sprung passage.
